The rolling bearing 10 includes: an inner ring 11 having an inner ring raceway surface 11a in the outer peripheral surface; an outer ring 12 having an outer ring raceway surface 12a in the inner peripheral surface; a plurality of rolling element 13 rotatably arranged between the inner ring raceway surface 11a and the outer ring raceway surface 12a; and a synthetic resin holder 15 having a cutting part 14 formed in at least one place in the circumferential direction and configured to hold the plurality of rolling element 13 at roughly equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Then, the diameter size of the ball 13a inserted into two pockets sandwiching the cutting part 14 is set larger than that of the ball 13b inserted into the other pockets.
