Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing that has a simple configuration and can prevent or lower deterioration due to radiation even under a radiation exposure environment.SOLUTION: The rolling bearing includes: an inner race 2; an outer race 3; multiple rolling elements 6 disposed between the inner race 2 and the outer race 3; and a hermetically sealing member 11 for blocking a gap between the inner race 2 and the outer race 3 at both axial ends. The hermetically sealing member 11 is provided with a radiation blocking member 12 constituted of a radiation blocking material including a barium sulfate-containing rubber and the like to block the radiation entering the inside thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
