Further, the rolling element has a rolling face, of which the surface is worked by cutting work and burnishing work, of which the roughness is 0.1 μmRa or less, of which the maximum residual compressive stress is -1000 MPa or less, and in which the residual compressive stress layer is formed from the surface to the internal depth of 0.3 mm.
