Abstract:

To provide a rolling mill, a cold rolling method and a method of manufacturing steel plate which enable suppression of vibration during rolling while suppressing wear of liner of roll chocks.SOLUTION: A cold tandem rolling mill 1 (rolling mill) includes a plurality of stands 3 to 6 which roll a steel plate 2 (rolling object material). At least one stand 3 of a plurality of stands 3 to 6 includes: at least one pair of work roll 10 (rolling roll); a work roll chock 20 (roll chock) which supports the work roll 10 rotatably; and a work roll chock liner 30 (roll chock liner) which has a first liner plate 36 attached to the work roll chock 20, a second liner plate 38 piled in a rolling direction X with respect to the first liner plate 36 and an elastic member 37 sandwiched between the first liner plate 36 and the second liner plate 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
