To provide a rolling reduction method, capable of changing the setting position of the rolling reduction at any time, and executing an ordinary casting, a light rolling reduction casting or a rolling reduction casting after bulging with one continuous casting equipment.
The rolling reduction device R1 in the continuous casting equipment is the one for executing the rolling reduction with the rolls to the thickness direction near the solidified crater end of a continuously cast slab, equipment with one pair of segments 19 and 19-1, in which one pair of large diameter rolls 17 and 17-1 and plural pairs of small diameter rolls 18 and 18-1 interposing the cast slab to the thickness direction are faced in parallel with the width direction of the cast slab. The segments 19 and 19-1 are arranged so as to interposed the cast slab to the thickness direction faced to the surface of the width direction of the case slab and plural hydraulic devices 20 and 20-1 having different capacities are arranged at both side surfaces of the segments in parallel with the drawing direction of the cast slab, and the segments are integrally connected by the hydraulic devices. Further, the segments integrally connected are desirable to be equal size as the segments for guide roll device and light rolling reduction device.
