The roof carrier 1 includes a carrier bar 3 for loading objects to be conveyed, and a mounting member 4 for mounting the carrier bar 3 on a vehicle body. A reinforcing member 6 is provided between a bottom face 52 of a slider part 51 of a slider 5 constituting the mounting member 4 and a bottom face 31 of the carrier bar 3. The reinforcing member 6 enhances the durability of the roof carrier 1, and comprises a first face 61 interposed between the bottom face 52 of the slider part 51 and a bottom face 31 of the carrier bar 3, and a second face 62 interposed between both side faces 59 of the slider part 51 an both side faces 34 of the carrier bar 3, and is integrally formed by bending plates or the like.
