This roof module for the automobile has an internal shell molded out of a plastic foam material and is divided at the vicinity of a support part of the module to a body frame into an upper layer supportable to the body frame and a lower layer useful for adjustment to the line of the body frame. A sunvisor and a hand hold are previously assembled to the lower layer. To simplify assembly of the roof module to an automobile body, the upper layer, that is, the roof module on the whole, is fixed to the body frame using a fixing screw to allow the sunvisor and hand hold to be fixed. It is even better if a restraining-fixing screw of a bearing element of the sunvisor and hand hold is previously assembled to the lower layer of the internal shell.
