The root vegetable harvester is characterized by disposing a pulling-out and conveying device 24 having a rearward lifted inclined posture and used for pulling out crops from a field and rearward conveying the crops, on one of the right and left sides of a machine frame, disposing right and left soil-cutting members 37, 37 for cutting soil around the crops, below the conveyance-starting portion of the pulling-out and conveying device 24, disposing right and left soil-dropping members 38, 38 composed of an elastic material and used for dropping soil adhered to the conveying crops, below the conveying route of the pulling-out and conveying device 24, narrowly forming the distance between the soil-dropping members 38, 38 in the rear side direction, bending the rear end portions in the laterally outside directions, respectively, and coating the soil-dropping members 38, 38 with a soft material 39.
