To provide a rotary apparatus which attempts to optimize a stator core form and reduces vibration generated during operation.
A hub is provided with a recording disk. A basis supports the hub rotatably through a bearing. A stator core 60 is fixed by the basis and includes an annular portion 62 and a salient pole 63 extending from it in a radial direction. A magnet faces the salient pole 63 in the radial direction and rotates with the hub. The magnet has multiple magnetic poles in a circumferential direction to face against the salient pole 63. The salient pole 63 has a rod-like body 64 wound around with wire and a tooth 66 provided in the radial outside of the rod-like body 64 extending in the circumferential direction. A peripheral end 67 positioned at an end of the tooth 66 in the circumferential direction is positioned radially inside compared to a circumcircle 68 passing through a tip 69 positioned in the radial outermost of the tooth 66.
