PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high efficient compression of refrigerant.SOLUTION: An upper piston 125T of a rotary compressor is formed so as to satisfy formulae of 0.7×Hcyl÷1000≤δro≤1.2×Hcyl÷1000, Cro1≤0.1, Cro2≤0.1, Cro1×Cro2≤0.007, where Cro1 indicates a length [mm] of an upper side piston outer peripheral chamfer part 46 in its height direction, Cro2 indicates a length [mm] of the upper side piston outer peripheral chamfer part 46 in a normal direction of a piston outer peripheral surface 41. An upper vane 127T is formed so as to satisfy formulae of 0.7×Hcyl÷1000≤δv≤1.2×Hcyl÷1000,Cv1≤0.06 Cv2≤0.06, Cv1×Cv2≤0.003 where Cv1 indicates a length [mm] of an upper vane edge line chamfer part 56 in its height direction and Cv2 indicates a length [mm] of the upper vane ridge line chamfer part 56 in the normal direction of a vane leading end surface 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
