Abstract:
To provide a collector chamber ventilation system that even when hydrogen gas leakage occurs in the vicinity of a collector ring in a collector chamber of a rotary electric machine, suppresses increase in a hydrogen gas concentration to prevent hydrogen gas explosion.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine collector chamber ventilation system for performing ventilation of a collector chamber 2 storing a collector ring 6 and a collecting brush 7 of a rotary electric machine comprises collector chamber ventilation means for performing ventilation of the inside of the collector chamber by supplying air from the vicinity of the collector ring or the collector ring to an exhaust passage 9 communicating with an exhaust port 2d of the collector chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
