Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of facilitating control of an air gap between a rotor and a stator and suppressing loss due to copper loss of a coil used in the stator.SOLUTION: A stator core 6 of a stator 2 in a PM motor 100 which is one embodiment of the rotary electric machine is divided into a plurality of first stator pieces 7 wound with a stator coil 9 and fixedly disposed at a predetermined gap G in a space to a rotor 1; a plurality of second stator pieces 8 disposed to be movable in a radial direction of the stator 2. By moving the plurality of second stator pieces 8 in the radical direction, a magnetic resistance of a magnetic circuit is adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5B
