Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing axial run-out during high-speed rotations of a rotor by shortening a clearance between a pair of bearing.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 comprises: a housing 10; a shaft 15 which is supported in the housing 10 via a pair of bearings 13 and 13 in a rotatable manner; a rotor 20 which is fixed to the shaft 15; a stator core 31 which is formed annular and disposed while radially opposing the outside of the rotor 20; and a stator winding 35 which is wound around the stator core 31 and includes annular first and second coil ends 36 and 37 protruding axially outside from an axial end face 31a of the stator core 31. The pair of bearings 13 and 13 has an outer diameter as large as or larger than an outer diameter of the rotor 20, and at least one bearing 13 is housed at an inner diameter side of the first and second coil ends 36 and 37 at least partially.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
