Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor capable of suppressing generation of an induction current and suppressing damage to a magnet, and a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotor 20 comprises: a first reinforcement part 22a (corresponding to a reinforcement member 22) which is formed annular; and a magnet 21 which is molded in a predetermined shape. The first reinforcement part 22a exists inside of the magnet 21 so as not to be exposed on a surface of the magnet 21, the surface being a face opposite to a stator 30. In this configuration, the first reinforcement part 22a exists inside of the magnet 21 without being exposed on the surface. In other words, the first reinforcement part 22a is covered by the magnet 21. Therefore, even if the rotor 20 is rotated at high speed and a rotary magnetic field is received, an induction current is unlikely to be generated in the first reinforcement part 22a. Thus, reduction of a torque can be suppressed, strength reduction caused by heating can be suppressed or lifetime reduction can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
