Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce air flowing noise by forming a bent incoming air passage which is partitioned via a vent guide plate in a vent cover. CONSTITUTION:A vent cover 18 is mounted on the front surface of an upper end bracket 5, and an air inlet 19 is formed on the side surface of the cover 18. A vent guide plate 20 formed along the inlet 19 is mounted inside the cover 18. A vent guide plate 21 which forms a gap oppositely to the plate 20 is mounted on the front surface of the bracket 5. A vent guide plate 22 is disposed between the plate 20 and the plate 21, and the plate 22 is mounted on the end surface of an air cooler 23 which is arranged outside a rotary electric machine. An outer blade fan 7 which is fixed to the end of a rotational shaft 4 is disposed in the gap formed of the plates 20, 21.
