Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance a heat-exchanging efficiency by a method wherein the title heat exchanger defines a fluidization space housing therein heat transfer tubes and consists of an outer cylinder formed of a wall body having multiple through holes, fluid particles in large size which do not pass through the through holes of the outer cylinder, and a driving device for rotating the outer cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: Hot water or refrigerant is distributed to each of heat transfer tubes 13 and flows out through an outlet port 122. Air blown passes through a passage 5 and further passes through the through holes of an outer cylinder 2 and then passes through a fluidization space 2a defined by the outer cylinder 2. Besides, this outer cylinder 2 is driven by a driving device 4 and is rotated relatively with respect to a fixed header 11. In this instance, the fixed header 11 is stationary. According to the rotation of this outer cylinder 2, fluid particles 3 are transferred from the downstream of the air blown to the upstream thereof through the through holes of a wall body 21 and by means of scraping-up blades 211, and drop down to float in the fluidization space 2a. Accordingly, the air blown exchanges heat not only with the heat transfer tubes 13 but also with the fluid particles 3 which have exchanged heat with the heat transfer tubes 13 by being brought into contact therewith, thereby enhancing the efficiency of heat transfer in the whole heat exchanger.
