Title:
ROTARY MACHINE WITHOUT BEARING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3667069
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine without a bearing capable of stably controlling a floating position, even in, for example, an induction machine using basket-type rotor that has simple structure and can be manufactured easily.
SOLUTION: In a rotary machine without a bearing, the control magnetic field on n-poles (m±2) is superposed, while being synchronized to the drive magnetic field of an m-pole which is rotated, rotary force is applied to a rotor R, and at the same time, the control magnetic field of the n-poles in increased or decreased according to the displacement of the rotor R detected by displacement detection means 11x and 11y of the rotor R for magnetically levitating the rotor R. Also a back electromotive voltage which is induced to the terminal voltage of the coil winding of a stator S is integrated, flux distribution in the void of the rotor r and the stator S is detected, and the deformation in the flux distribution caused by the induced current of the rotor R is corrected, thus adjusting a control magnetic field so that an original flux distribution command value can be set.
