Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine capable of efficiently obtaining attenuation from a bearing, in a rotary machine having an overhang structure.SOLUTION: A rotary machine includes: a rotor 10 which is equipped with a rotor shaft 11, and a pair of impellers 14 respectively fixed to both end portions of the rotor shaft 11; a casing 30 for storing the rotor 10; a pair of bearing 15 which rotatably support the rotor shaft 11 to the casing 30, at a position close to a center in an axis direction of the rotor shaft 11 than a position to which the impellers 14 of the rotor shaft 11 are fixed; and a vibration suppressing mechanism which radially applies magnetism around the axis, at both end portions in the axis direction of the rotor 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
