Abstract:

PURPOSE: To develope seal effect, not inferior to a conventional heat exchanger, by maintaining elasticity in a high-temperature atmosphere without receiving any affection of high-temperature oxidizing and the like.

CONSTITUTION: In a rotary regeneration type heat exchanger for hightemperature exhaust gas, which is constituted of a rotor 11, into which heat transfer element is loaded, and a rotor post 1, supporting the rotor 4 rotatably, a radial seal 14 is fixed to the sector plate 17 of fixed side and the radial seal 14 is covered by a heat insulating material 18. On the other hand, a circumseal 15 is fixed to the sector plate 17 of fixed side and the circumseal 15 is covered by the heat insulating material 18.
