PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of state estimation so as to increase stability in high rotation by providing an observer, having mechanism for changing an arithmetic parameter according to the rotating speed of a rotary shaft, inside a control device.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 2 fitted at a rotor 1 detects the radial displacement and rotating speed of the rotor 1. In an observer parameter setting device 3, a parameter setting part 31 fetches an appropriate parameter from an observer parameter table 32 according to the detected rotating speed and delivers it to an observer arithmetic part 4. The state estimated amount obtained by the observer arithmetic part 4 is fed back to an electromagnetic bearing device 6 by a regulator 5. The accuracy of state estimation is thus improved, and therefore stability in high rotation can be increased.
