Title:
ROTARY TURN BAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3869254
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary turn bar of low friction and little mechanical loss without causing tension fluctuation in conveying various webs while changing the direction.
SOLUTION: This rotary turn bar 1 is assembled by arranging fourteen elements each composed of radial rollers 2a, 2b of a first rotation body and a thrust roller 3 of a second rotation body, in close contact in the rotation axis direction of a shaft 4 so that the thrust rollers 3 are not adjacent to each other, and key-fixing each element to the shaft 4. The radial rollers 2a, 2b are provided with ten recessed parts 5 and projecting parts 6 alternately and equally on the outer periphery, and when the radial rollers 2a, 2b are arranged to overlap the recessed parts 5 with each other and the projecting parts 6 with each other, a sliding bearing for supporting the thrust rollers 3 is formed. The thrust rollers 3 are journaled at 90° to the shaft and disposed rotatably in the spaces of the recessed parts 5 of the radial rollers 2a, 2b.
