A crucible 3 is provided in a furnace body 1 via a combustion space 2, and the regenerative burner A heating the crucible 3 by burning in the combustion space 2 is attached to the furnace body 1. Normally, the crucible 3 takes an erected attitude with an opening facing straight up, and the furnace body 1 is supported so that it can be rotatively driven and takes an inclined attitude wherein the opening of the crucible 3 faces sideways when taking out the molten metal 4. The heat storage tank 5 filled with heat storage materials 6 of the regenerative burner A is integrally provided below a bottom face of the furnace body 1.
