In the rotary type scroll fluid machine 30, an engaging hole 1b of the driving scroll 1 is engaged with an engaging shaft 3c of a motor spindle 3 axially movably, an elastic body 15 is disposed in the engaging hole 1b, its one end is pivoted by the motor spindle 3, the other end is pivoted by the driving scroll 1, the elastic body 15 is rotated synchronously and concentrically with the motor spindle 3 and the driving scroll 1, and the driving scroll 1 is axially moved by the elastic body 15 to be pressed onto the driven scroll 2. The separation of the driving scroll from the driven scroll is prevented, and the tip of the lap is actively brought into contact with a panel board on the counter side, thereby reducing the leakage.
