Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify structure without deteriorating the turning performance of a rotary valve body and the sealing performance between a fixed valve body and the rotary valve body by forming a pressurizing chamber for introducing the compressed air between the rotary valve body and a valve box. CONSTITUTION:A fixed valve body 3 is accommodated and fixed into a valve box 2 and has a flat surface 15 and a passage 16 which communicates to said flat surface 15. A rotary valve body 4 and a flat surface 19 which can turn in contact with the flat surface 15 of the fixed valve body 3 and a communication passage 20 corresponding to the passage 16. A pressurizing chamber 6 is formed between a rotary valve body 4 and the valve box 2 on the opposite side to the fixed valve body 3, and compressed air is introduced through an introducing hole 12. Since compressed air exists, the connection state between the rotary valve body 4 and the valve body 3 is kept constant, even if the rotary valve body 4 is turned by a valve rod 5, and the rotary valve body 4 can be turned exceedingly easily.
