Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent short-circuit caused by dirts and dusts in a position of the current collector of a rotating electric machine by providing a recessed part in which a fixing member is fitted in a brush holder and a barrier. CONSTITUTION:A current collecting brush 3 comes into contact electrically with a slip spring 1 mounted to a rotary shaft 2. The brush 3 is mounted to a brush holding bar 5 through a brush holder 4. A fixing cylinder 9 is a cylindrical member that is so formed that can be inserted in the brush holding bar 5 and that is tapered on the periphery of ends in the shape of a trumpet, and the ends are fitted in the recessed part constituted of the brush holder 4 and a barrier 8. Accordingly, the abrasion powder of the brush 3 does not enter the brush holder 4 and the barrier 8.
