Abstract:
To provide a rotation detection device and a method of manufacturing the same for which it is not necessary to prepare an inner case for each lead-out direction of a cord, and in which stress is suppressed from being applied to a connection part of the cord.SOLUTION: A rotation detection device 1 comprises: a magnet; a magnetic sensor which detects change of a magnetic field formed by the magnet as a body to be detected rotates; an inner case which accommodates the magnetic sensor and magnet; an outer case 20 which covers a circumference of the inner case; and a cord 50 which is electrically connected to the magnetic sensor and led out through the inner case and outer case 20. The inner case is provided with a cord cap 11 which is fitted to the inner case to retain and fixes an end of the cord 50 with the inner case, and the outer case 20 comprises a cord lead-out part 23 which bends the cord 50 held and fixed with the inner case and the cord cap 11 to lead the cord out toward a predetermined direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
