Abstract:
To provide a rotation detection device with a lock release mechanism which is improved in assemblability.SOLUTION: A rotation detection device is provided with a lock release mechanism 1 which includes: a rotating member 20 having a retaining engagement part; a holding member 10 which freely rotatably holds the rotating member 20 and has a mounting part for mounting it on a part to be mounted; an engagement member 30 movable between a release position where the rotating member 20 is free to rotate and a locking position to be engaged with the engagement part so that rotation of the rotating member 20 becomes impossible; and an upper cover 50 which is a lock release member for moving the engagement member 30 to the release position when mounted on the part to be mounted, and is constituted by having rotation detecting means for detecting the rotation of the rotating member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
