Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily respond to a variety of signal cable lead-out directions without complicating the structure of a mold.SOLUTION: A rotation detector 1 comprises a sensor element 2, a signal cable 3, a terminal member 4, and a sensor housing 6. The signal cable 3 includes a signal line 31, and an outer coating layer 33, made of an insulating synthetic resin, which is provided on the outside of the signal line. The terminal member 4 includes a first contact 41 electrically connected to the sensor element 2, a second contact 42 electrically connected to the signal line 31, a support 43 for fixedly supporting the outer coating layer 33 at a position closer to the signal cable 3 than the second contact 42, and a connection 44 provided between the first contact 41 and the support 43 in an easily plastic deformable manner. The sensor housing 6 is formed with the insulating synthetic resin so as to cover an end on the terminal member 4 side of the signal cable 3 and the terminal member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
