PURPOSE: To enable continuous or intermittent operation in a high speed and to produce a high speed production line in combining with other devices by fitting/cooperating dies each other fixed on a carrier member of rotatable upper/ lower roll units and forming a material.

CONSTITUTION: Lower/upper roll units 32, 34 are rotated. A respective die 50 is moved with rotating the unit 32. In the same way, a respective die 60 is moved with rotating the unit 34. A material 12 is formed by both side dies 50, 60 at a forming position. Guide pins 48, 49, 62, 63 respectively move along cam grooves 64, 65, 70, 72, the dies 50, 60 are mutually parallel at beginning, also, parallel to the material 12. Abutting parts 43, 53 are brought into contact with the material 12. Accordingly, in the case there is adhesion between the material 12 and the die 50, the material 12 is extruded from the die 50 or 60 and smoothly passes a rotation machine 20. Further, the unit continues to rotate, a support block 46 is rotated, moved by action of a cam follower, forming work is done.
