Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which improves magnetic efficiency and also reduces leakage of a magnetic flux, and a non-contact generator.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 comprises a permanent magnet 2 which is freely rotatable around a first rotation axis and disposed oppositely while being separated from one principal surface of a rotating or moving mobile and of which one side face continuous to an outer peripheral surface is at least partially disposed oppositely to one principal surface of the mobile. The permanent magnet 2 includes: a plurality of magnetic poles 2b which are disposed separately in a circumferential shape and magnetized in different directions alternately in a circumferential direction; and a magnetic flux concentration member 2g which is disposed between the plurality of magnetic poles, concentrates magnetic fluxes from two magnetic poles neighboring in the circumferential direction and turns the concentrated magnetic flux in a direction of the mobile 5 or an opposite direction thereof. The permanent magnet 2 is rotated around the first rotation axis by a reaction force that acts on the magnetic flux concentration member based on an eddy current which is generated in a direction disturbing a change of the magnetic flux from the magnetic flux concentration member on one principal surface of the mobile, and a surface velocity of the one side face of the permanent magnet disposed oppositely to the mobile is lower than a surface velocity of one principal surface of the mobile disposed oppositely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
