Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which improves magnetic efficiency and also reduces leakage of a magnetic flux, and a non-contact generator.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine comprises: a shaft member which is disposed separately from one principal surface of a rotating or moving mobile, extends in a direction crossing a rotating or moving direction of the mobile and is rotated in the rotating or moving direction of the mobile; a magnet which is fixed around the shaft member and magnetized in an axial direction of the shaft member; a rotor which is freely rotatable around the shaft member, disposed separately from one principal surface of the mobile and disposed within a magnetic path through which a magnetic flux from the magnet is passed; and a magnetic flux guide member which is oppositely disposed on a surface of the magnet at an opposite side of the surface opposing the rotor and disposed within the magnetic path through which the magnetic flux from the magnet is passed. The rotor is rotated at a velocity lower than a rotating or moving velocity of the mobile in a rotation direction corresponding to the rotating or moving direction of the mobile around the shaft member by a reaction force that acts on the rotor based on an eddy current which is generated in a direction disturbing a change of the magnetic flux passed from the magnet through the rotor on one principal surface disposed oppositely to the rotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
