Title:
ROTOR FOR SUPERCONDUCTING ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01133564
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve reliability by laminating superconducting wires for a superconducting field coil so that the cross direction of the superconducting wires is directed along the cross direction of a slot, forming a plurality of superconducting wire groups and shaping cooling paths in the radial direction among the groups. CONSTITUTION:A rotor for a superconducting rotary electric machine is composed of a coil mounting shaft 2 to which a slot 18 and a helium flowing hole 22 are shaped, superconducting field coils 25, lower, upper and in-slot each insulating material 28-30, and a cylindrical body 31 fitted to said mounting shaft 2. With said field coils 25, superconducting wires 25a are laminated in the radial direction so that the cross direction of the superconducting wires 25a is directed along the cross direction of the slot 18 and superconducting wire groups 25A are shaped, and a plurality of the superconducting wire groups 25A are formed in said cross direction. Insulating materials 26 are inserted among the groups 25A, and cooling paths 27 in the radial direction are shaped. Accordingly, a refrigerant is made to flow through various cooling paths 28a-28c, 29a-29c, 30a, 2a communicated with said helium flowing hole 22, thus cooling said coils 25.
