To recommend a passenger to be seated in a seat easy to visually recognize a passing scenic area according to interests and tastes of the passenger.SOLUTION: A route guide device 1 includes a taste information storage unit 14 that previously stores taste information indicating interests and tastes of a passenger of a vehicle, a passenger recognition unit 31 that recognizes the passenger by image recognition, an attribute acquisition unit 34 that acquires an attribute of a scenic area, and a notification control unit 39 that, when the vehicle is predicted to pass the scenic area on the basis of at least one of destination information and route information of the vehicle, notifies the passenger who is interested in the scenic area of being seated in a seat easy to visually recognize the scenic area before the vehicle passes that area according to the taste information stored in the taste information storage unit 14 and the attribute acquired by the attribute acquisition unit 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
