Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high speed forwarding function and a flexible touring function.
SOLUTION: The router type connectionless server unit is provided with a high speed forwarding processing section 13 having a transfer router to a touring function, a routing processing section 12 which has various routing protocols, control protocols and maintenance operation functions, and a discrimination changeover circuit 11 that selects a data transfer route to the high speed forwarding processing section 13 or the routing processing section 12 depending on a packet type so as to conduct flexible routing processing and high speed forwarding processing.
