Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having no reduction of processability and hardness, enhanced dispersibility of silica and excellent in low fuel consumption and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: A rubber composition is manufactured by blending (A) diene rubber of 100 pts.mass, (B) silica of 5 to 200 pts.mass, (C) a silane coupling agent of 1 to 20 mass% based on the silica and (D) glycerol mono fatty acid ester derived from fatty acid having 8 to 24 carbon atoms of 1 to 20 mass% based on the silica, where 10 pts.mass or more of 100 pts.mass of (A) has a hetero atom-containing functional group in a main chain and/or a terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: None
