Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition which is excellent in processability and gives a rubber crosslinked product excellent in balance of tensile strength, elongation, wet grip properties, rolling resistance, and wear resistance.SOLUTION: The rubber composition is provided which contains a diene rubber, a hydrocarbon resin hydride, and carbon black. The content of the hydrocarbon resin hydride is 1.0-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The content of the carbon black is 20-80 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The diene rubber contains 30-90 mass% of a natural rubber and 10-70 mass% of a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber. The hydrocarbon resin hydride is obtained by hydrogenating a hydrocarbon resin containing an aliphatic monomer unit and an aromatic monomer unit and has a hydrogenation rate within the range of 0.1-80%, a weight average molecular weight (Mw) within the range of 700-6,000, and a softening point within the range of 80-150°C. The carbon black has a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (NSA) within the range of 70-150 m/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None
