Abstract:

To provide a rubber composition for a tire that improves steering stability, low fuel consumption, and processability while sufficiently reducing dependency on petroleum resources, and a pneumatic tire in which the rubber composition for a tire is used for each member (for example, a bead apex) of the tire.

The rubber composition for a tire includes a rubber component and a naturally-derived phenol resin, wherein, the phenol resin is preferably the one derived from plant-derived phenols and aldehydes.
