Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire which is excellent in on-ice performance, wet grip performance, low heat build-up properties, and wear resistance when formed into a tire, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the rubber composition for a tire.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire contains a diene rubber, silica, and a cured product. The content of the silica is 20-100 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber, and the content of the cured product is 0.3-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The diene rubber contains a natural rubber and a specific modified conjugated diene polymer. The content of the natural rubber in the diene rubber is 30-90 mass%, and the content of the modified conjugated diene polymer in the diene rubber is 10-70 mass%. The cured product is obtained by curing a crosslinkable oligomer or polymer incompatible with the diene rubber and has a JIS A hardness of 3-45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
