The rubber composition contains a rubber component and an antiaging agent for rubber containing an antiaging substance for rubber and γ-cyclodextrin. The antiaging agent for rubber is preferably obtained by inclusion of the antiaging substance for rubber into γ-cyclodextrin. The antiaging agent for rubber is preferably characterized in that in solid-state NMR measurement, the chemical shift of a peak based on ¹³C of γ-cyclodextrin including the antiaging substance for rubber is different from the chemical shift of a peak based on ¹³C of γ-cyclodextrin not including the antiaging substance for rubber.
