Title:
RUBBER LINING PEELING METHOD FOR ROLL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03256698
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of a lining peeling work by means of a liquid jet flow by forming a deep groove in a rubber lining layer by means of a high pressure narrow liquid jet flow, and removing parted small pieces by means of a wide jet flow after the small piece is peeled through rotation of a roll.

CONSTITUTION: High pressure water is fed with the aid of a high pressure water pump 9, and a narrow jet flow is injected against a rubber lining layer 1d through an injection nozzle 7. Simultaneously, the nozzle 7 is moved throughout the whole length of a roll 1 to form a deep groove B1, extending in the direction of an axis A to a base part 1c, in the layer 1d, and thereafter through rotation of the roll 1 in a 180° arc, the nozzle 7 is moved in a direction E to form a deep groove B2. High pressure water is injected against the layer 1d through the nozzle 7 in a separating position (a) as the roll 1 is rotated at a given speed, the nozzle 7 is continuously moved in a direction D from the one end of the roll 1 to the other end thereof to form a helical deep groove C in the layer 1d. In which case, the layer 1d parted into the deep grooves B1, B2, and C is peeled by means of the central force of the roll 1 and the impact force of a jet water flow and dropped down. A wide jet water flow is collided with a base part 1c through the nozzle 7 to perform washing.
