Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber-modified styrenic resin composition having improved appearance of molded article, especially luster and excellent impact strength.
CONSTITUTION: In a rubber-modified styrenic resin composition, three kinds of rubber-like polymers are used, particles having a salami-like structure are made into small diameters, blended with particles having a single occlusion structure and the particle diameter distribution has three peaks and the average particle diameter is 0.2-0.8μm. Further, the particle diameter distribution is made wider than that of a conventional rubber-modified styrenic resin composition and a specific index which is a ratio of 5% value to 95% value of cumulative particle diameter distribution based on volume of the rubber-like polymer particles is controlled.
