In a rust prevention film including at least one or more layers of rust prevention resin layers containing a volatile rust inhibitor, the volatile rust inhibitor is a rapidly acting volatile rust inhibitor with vapor pressure of 0.2 Pa or more at room temperature (20°C), and the rust prevention resin layer is formed by kneading a base resin with the rapidly acting volatile rust inhibitor and then melt-extruding the resin at a resin temperature of 120-140°C.
