Abstract:
To provide a saddle-stitching and folding device capable of calendar bookbinding.SOLUTION: The saddle-stitching and folding device includes: a binding section that binds a sheet bundle in which a plurality of sheets are superposed; a folding section that folds the sheet bundle in two at the point where the sheet bundle is bound; and a control section. The binding section includes: a stopper; and a back jogger that abuts on a rear end of a sheet stopped by abutting on the stopper and positions the sheet in a transport direction. The control section controls the back jogger or the stopper, and the back jogger pushes and aligns a first sheet to a first distance from the stopper, and pushes and aligns a second sheet, which is longer in the transport direction than the first sheet, is transported after the first sheet and is superposed on the first sheet, to a second distance from the stopper, and the second distance is longer than the first distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
