Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device capable of improving the safety of an automatic door with a simple device by interrupting the drive force transmission in the operation of the safety device and conforming to the advancing and retreating speed rise of the automatic door by transmitting all the drive force in the general opening and closing of the automatic door.
SOLUTION: A gas spring 15 is mounted on the rod of a drive cylinder 14, a first moving body 17 for mounting door bodies 4, 4a is movably mounted on a main rail 16, and the rod of the gas spring 15 is connected to the first moving body 17. Accordingly, when a worker or the like makes contact with the front and rear door bodies 4 and 4a, the gas spring 15 in the drive force transmission route of a drive unit is shortened to prevent the drive force of the drive cylinder 14 from acting on the front and rear door bodies 4 and 4a, and the safety can be ensured. An elongating directional repulsive force is imparted to the gas spring 15, whereby the gas spring 15 can transmit the drive force of the drive cylinder 14 to the first moving body 17 without any change.
