Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device capable of more surely preventing an operator from falling from a control platform of a picking lift.SOLUTION: A safety device 10 of the invention comprises: a belt 11 on which a fringe pattern formed of two colors whose brightness is different each other, is provided; a camera 14 directed to the operator who mounts on a predetermined position of a control platform; a pattern storage part 16 for storing a comparison pattern corresponding to the fringe pattern of the belt 11; and an attachment determination part 15 for comparing a binarized image formed by binarization of an original image acquired by the camera 14, and the comparison pattern stored in the pattern storage part 16, and determining that the belt 11 is attached to the operator when there is a pattern approximate to the comparison pattern in the binarized image, and determining that the belt 11 is not attached to the operator when there is no pattern approximate to the comparison patten in the binarized image.
