Abstract:
To provide a safety device for a power slide door for preventing a passengers' accident by preventing the power slide door from automatically operating in a vehicle having the power slide door when window glass fitted to the slide door is opened wider than a predetermined extent.
The safety device for the power slide door comprises a switch means which outputs an electrical signal when the window glass fitted to the slide door is opened to the predetermined extent, an electronic control unit which receives the electrical signal of the switch means and controls the operation of the slide door when the window glass is opened wider than the predetermined extent.
