Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure safety of workers, by generating a signal corresponding to open door condition from a switch and restraining the operation of a machine provided that a cam is its inoperative state under the condition of opened door after attaching a safety device to the periphery of the entrance of a safety fence.
CONSTITUTION: When a safety fence to surround a dangerous machine is in open condition, an operation key 7 on the door side is drawn out from a safety device 10 provided in the safety fence and a cam 24 is in its inoperative condition. Consequently, a moving contact for generating open door signal is bridged to a fixed contact by a moving contact block of a switch, so that an open door signal may be generated, and the operation of a machine is inhibited. When next the door is closed, the engaging part 92 of the operation key 7 enters into the receiving part 25 of the cam 24 through an inserting hole 21, right & left stopping bodies 71, 72 are pushed outside by both side edges of the operation key 7, and the cam 24 is rotated as soon as stopping members 75, 76 are removed from an engaging part 1. When the nail part 37 of a locking body 36 becomes in its state to engage with an engaging nail 29, a door close signal is transmitted.
