Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that suppresses a photoacoustic wave from a nipple or a mole and successfully acquires photoacoustic waves from portions other than them in photoacoustic imaging.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition device has: a support unit 9 that supports multiple emission units 6 for emitting light from a light source to a subject and also supports a probe 8 for receiving an acoustic wave transmitted from the subject exposed to the light; an emission control unit 12 that controls emission of the light from the respective emission units; a movement control unit 12 that moves a position of a support unit relative to the subject; an acquisition unit 12 that acquires information on a light intensity suppressing region of the subject; and an information processing unit 13 that generates characteristic information for the subject on the basis of the acoustic wave. The emission control unit controls the respective emission units at each position to which the support unit is moved by the movement control unit and thereby suppresses the light intensity of the light to be emitted to the light intensity suppressing region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
