Abstract:

To effectively suppress generation of noise components when a sample is ionized.SOLUTION: A sample supporting body 1 includes a substrate 2 having a first surface 2a, a second surface 2b located on the opposite side to the side where the first surface 2a is located, and an irregular porous structure 3 with an opening in the first surface 2a. A porous structure 3 is formed of an aggregate of a plurality of beads 4. The porous structure 3 has a joint part 5 in which there are recesses between the beads 4 next to each other joining to each other. A conductive layer 6 is formed in a part which forms at least a first surface 2a of the surfaces 4a of the beads 4 and the joint part 5. A protective layer 7 is formed to cover the surfaces 4a of the beads 4, the joint part 5, and the conductive layer 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
