Abstract:
To provide a compact flow meter by means of a manifold with a small area.SOLUTION: A manifold 100 for a flow meter comprises: a main body 120 comprising a first plane 104 with a first orifice 108 and a second orifice 110, and a second plane 204 opposite the first plane and having a third orifice and a fourth orifice, the first and third orifices extending in the main body and together defining a first channel which traverses the main body, the second and fourth orifices extending in the main body and together defining a second channel which traverses the main body, and each of the third and fourth orifices being configured so that fluid circulates to/from first and second flow tubes of the flow meter; and a non-circular, branched flow opening 112 protruding from the first plane and including a non-circular wall part 106' surrounding the first and second orifices. The non-circular wall part is configured to change a cross section of a fluid channel which exits from the first orifice and the second orifice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
